The Red-White-Red Card is points-based for qualified third-country workers, including a Very Highly Qualified and a shortage-occupation track. An employer can also sponsor a Card for a specific job. After a holding period you can move to a plus card with freer labour-market access. EU Blue Card is an alternative. Vienna’s MA35 is often the local bottleneck.
